Like many people, I struggled with my skin from my teens through to my twenties. I tried the quick fixes—antibiotics, creams, anything promising overnight results. Nothing lasted.

The real change came when I reconnected with my Persian roots and the practice of Traditional Persian Medicine (TPM).

In TPM, skin isn’t just surface—it reflects what’s happening inside. It carries all four qualities—hot, cold, moist, and dry—making it one of the clearest mirrors of our inner health. When I finally understood my own temperament, I realised my breakouts and dullness weren’t random—they were signals. By adjusting my lifestyle and beauty rituals, I began to see my skin (and my energy) transform.
